Helen Morgan launches search for community farming hero

Helen Morgan is searching for a community farming hero to nominate for a new award.

Helen is looking for a farmer who has gone above and beyond to help out their local community and can be named as North Shropshire’s Community Farming Hero.

Helen Morgan MP said: “Farmers are crucial pillars of our communities and deserve to be celebrated.

“Their hard work often flies under the radar so I want to do my bit to shout up and give them some well-earned recognition.

“I’m now looking for one farmer in particular who has gone the extra mile to nominate for the NFU’s Community Farming Hero Award.

“They might have gone out of their way to help neighbours, raised money for local charities or put in extra effort to maintain the local landscape.

“If you think a farmer you know in North Shropshire deserves to be recognised then please get in touch.”

Nominations are welcome from anyone and can be made by commenting on Helen’s pinned Facebook post or emailing helen.morgan.mp@parliament.uk.
