Helen encourages North Shropshire businesses to attend free digital skills workshop
North Shropshire MP Helen Morgan is encouraging small businesses and jobseekers in her constituency to attend a free upcoming digital skills workshop and training event co-hosted by Google in Market Drayton. The event aims to help small businesses improve their digital presence, which is increasingly vital in today's technology-driven marketplace.
Google Digital Trainers will be on hand to provide in-person training, offering practical tips and tricks on enhancing digital marketing strategies, building an online presence, and using digital tools to increase efficiency. They will also be available to answer questions and offer personalized advice to small business owners.
The free workshop will take place at the Market Drayton Festival Centre, located on Frogmore Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3AX, with a start time of 10am on the 8th of November. Business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to register for the event online at https://rsvp.withgoogle.com/events/north-shropshire-mp by the deadline of the 6th of November to secure their spot.
Helen Morgan, MP for North Shropshire, said, “I worked in the private sector for many years, and so I know first-hand how businesses of all sizes often need to change and adjust in order to thrive. In today’s fast-paced digital world, strong digital skills can be essential for growth and success.
“I’m pleased to invite small businesses and jobseekers from across North Shropshire to come to Market Drayton and learn for free from Google’s Digital Trainers on the 8th of November. Participants will gain valuable insights into digital marketing, learn how to improve their online presence, and take part in hands-on workshops to sharpen their digital skills.
“Every small business or jobseeker is welcome to attend, so please do spread the word if you know someone who might be interested in taking this offer up. Registration is open until the 6th of November, and I look forward to seeing many local businesses there.”
