Helen congratulates ‘incredible’ In Bloom winners

North Shropshire MP Helen Morgan has congratulated the teams in her constituency who won Gold in the recent In Bloom awards.

Oswestry was named Best Large Town in Britain at the Royal Horticultural Society awards, and Norton in Hales was awarded Gold in the Heart of England category.

The MP visited the Oswestry team earlier in the year to see their work for herself, and said she was ‘absolutely delighted’ to hear of the victories for North Shropshire.

Helen Morgan MP said, “I am absolutely delighted that the hard work of In Bloom teams across North Shropshire has been rewarded with two fantastic wins for Oswestry and Norton in Hales.

“Every individual hanging basket plays a role, and clearly the judges were incredibly impressed by the work done in our area.

“Congratulations to everyone involved in making two prestigious awards come to Shropshire and for putting us on the map for all the right reasons.”
